Description
This 26 year old woman did not like the hump on her nose or the fact that it was over projecting. She also did not like the downward pointing tip. She underwent open septorhinoplasty and is pictured 6 weeks postoperative. The dorsum was reduced and deprojected and the tip rotated upward. Not the dorsum does not run straight into the tip, but rather the tip projects slightly beyond the dorsum. This is referred to as supratip break and is a subtle feature that elevates the result of female rhinoplasty.
